Keel Her
Riot Grrrl

EP Released: 03 Dec 2012

Critical Heights is pleased with the release of the second 7" from the very prolific, lo-fi, fuzz-pop KEEL HER. "Riot Grrrl" sees Rose Keeler-Schffeler in fine feisty fettle with suitably blue lyrics that wouldn't make it past the 9 O'Clock watershed.

Both "Riot Grrrl" and the b-side "You Would Be So Grossed Out If I Did That" are the first songs by KEEL HER to be recorded in an actual studio (Tie Dye Tapes in Sheffield) rather than in Rose's bedroom. The results are wonderful, with a more defined sound and clearer arrangements without losing any of her signature DIY sound.

Having moved from Winchester to Brighton in the past couple of months, KEEL HER has been as prolific as ever, still posting pretty much a song a day to her band camp. She released her debut single "Prize Catch" out on Critical Heights in August.
